On March 26, 2026, at 17:00–18:30 (UTC) the International Institute of Outer Space Law Working Group on International Law Aspects of Interplanetary Internet (IISL WG-IPN), in association with the United Nations University Institute on Comparative Regional Integration Studies (UNU-CRIS), will host a webinar ‘Building the Interplanetary Internet: Infrastructure and Technical Foundations‘. Drawing on decades of work at the intersection of space communications and network engineering, Dr Keith Scott will outline the physical architecture, protocols, standards, and technical frameworks required to enable a resilient communication system across the solar system.
