On Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at 09:00-10:30 EDT (13:00 UTC) the United Nations Office for Digital and Emerging Technologies (ODET) will host a Sustainability Townhall on the Global Digital Compact (GDC). Topic: the environmental cost of digital tech – energy, extraction, e-waste – and how global policy can respond.
Participation is via Microsoft teams, and the registration deadline is March 28.
