On 11 December 2025, the Internet Society held its Q4 Africa Community Call with the theme ‘Celebrating 2025, Igniting 2026‘. The session highlighted Africa’s leadership in connectivity, online safety, and open Internet advocacy, and recognized outstanding chapters through the inaugural Community Champions program. Internet Society leadership also outlined priorities for 2026 aligned with the 2030 Strategy, emphasizing community-centered connectivity, affordability, trust, and collaboration.
