The MANRS initiative and the community have grown and evolved significantly over the past years. To ensure that the MANRS Actions continue to serve their purpose effectively, we have launched a community survey to gather input on whether a future review of the MANRS Actions is needed—and, if so, what its scope and priorities should be.
This survey is not a review of the Actions themselves, nor is it an assessment of any organization’s conformance. Instead, it is a scoping exercise designed to help us understand the community’s perspective across all MANRS programs.
Specifically, your input will help determine:
- Whether a review of the MANRS Actions is necessary
- Which areas, if any, may need attention
- How extensive a future review should be
The survey includes questions on topics such as:
- How well the current MANRS Actions serve today’s needs
- Which MANRS program areas should be prioritized, if changes are considered
- What the appropriate scope of a potential review might be
- How updated requirements, if introduced, should be adopted by existing participants
- How non-conformance should be handled in the future
The results of this survey will be used solely to inform planning for a possible future review. Any actual review of the MANRS Actions would follow the established MANRS Development Process, with its open and transparent community-driven approach.
We invite all MANRS participants and community members to take part and share their perspectives. Your feedback is essential in helping ensure that MANRS continues to deliver meaningful improvements to global routing security.
Please share your perspectives by Jan 30, 2026. The survey is available here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/JG22RHK
If you prefer to reach out to us privately, please contact us any time here.
Thank you for contributing to the future of MANRS.
