The Annual Assembly was held in a hybrid format on 25 February 2026, starting at 18:00. The meeting was attended by Society members, members of the Board of Directors, and members of the Advisory Group.
The President of the Society, Desiree Željka Milošević, informed participants about the current state of the Society and shared positive impressions from the previous Descon 9 conference and the hackathon held from 21 to 23 November 2025.
During the session, the financial report for the previous year, implemented activities, and plans for the current year were reviewed. The Advisory Group proposed considering the topic of artificial intelligence, which is currently not part of the global organization’s action and thematic plan. It was agreed that a joint brainstorming meeting will be organized in April to define further activities and development directions.
One of the key priorities identified was joint engagement in securing funds and donors for organizing the Descon 10 conference. Closer cooperation with Internet society of Switzerland was also proposed. The initiative to mark the 20th anniversary of the Internet Society of Serbia was discussed as well.
