The 2018 AGM of ISOC India Trivandrum Chapter (ISOC-TRV) took place on 28 May 2018 at Trivandrum, India. The meeting had about 65 participants present in person as well as online.
Dr Sameer (Chair, IEEE Kerala Section) & Satish signed the MoU between ISOC-TRV and IEEE Kerala Section that related to the sharing of office space, staff and costs between the two organizations. Ranjit (Secretary) presented the Annual report and Sabarinath (Treasurer) presented the Statement of Accounts, both of which were approved by the AGM.
After a term of two years, the founding team of Officers moved out as planned in the leadership succession plan. The following incoming Officers were announced by Dr.Sameer S.M., on behalf of the 2017 Nominating Committee:
- R. Srinivasan (Chair)
- Sabarinath Pillai (Vice Chair)
- Shahul Hameed (Secretary)
- Jithin Krishnan (Treasurer)
The outgoing Chair, Satish Babu, moved to the Board of Governors of ISOC-TRV, a group which would provide advisory inputs to the Chapter Officers. Other esteemed members inducted to the BoG are:

- Sameer.S.M
- Ms. Mini Ulanat
The AGM was followed by a panel discussion on the topic “The Internet, Social Media and the Nipah Virus Outbreak”
