ISOC-IL’s Hank Nussbacher Recognized for Contributions to the Internet Society’s ChAC Steering Committee

The Israel Internet Association (ISOC-IL) is proud to recognize Hank Nussbacher, a founding member of ISOC-IL and a pioneer of the Israeli internet, for his outstanding contributions to the Internet Society’s Chapters Advisory Council (ChAC) Steering Committee in 2024.

As his tenure on the Steering Committee comes to a close, the global Internet Society (ISOC) has expressed its appreciation for his work and dedication, awarding him a Certificate of Appreciation in recognition of his contributions as a 2024 Committee member. 

The ChAC Steering Committee is a globally representative body elected to lead discussions and draft policy recommendations on behalf of ISOC chapters worldwide. It serves as a bridge between local chapters and ISOC leadership, ensuring that diverse perspectives inform the organization’s strategies, policies, and operations. The committee plays a key role in strengthening collaboration across ISOC’s global network and advancing the shared vision of a more open, secure, and accessible internet.

For years, Hank has been a leading advocate for the Israeli internet community on the international stage, representing ISOC-IL in key global forums and influencing policies and standards that impact the future of the internet.
