Young Enthusiasts Build a Community at the Internet Society of Serbia Hacklab

At the Hacklab of the Internet Society of Serbia, young people from various technical fields regularly gather to exchange knowledge, experiences, and ideas about modern internet technologies. This informal community is becoming an increasingly important meeting point for students, developers, engineers, and anyone interested in building open and innovative solutions. These gatherings carry additional significance as the Internet Society of Serbia celebrates 20 years of existence this year, marking a long-standing commitment to the growth of the digital community.

During these meetups, participants work on a wide range of projects—from electronics and programming to experimenting with hardware and network technologies. The atmosphere is relaxed yet highly productive: while some analyze code or test devices, others discuss new trends in the IT industry or share practical advice.

At one of the sessions, a small group could be seen working on a technical project at a table filled with components, laptops, and tools, while in another part of the space, a larger group engaged in a lively discussion about ideas and future initiatives. It is precisely this combination of hands-on work and open dialogue that makes the Hacklab a unique place for learning.

What sets this community apart is the willingness of its members to support one another and share knowledge openly. More experienced participants gladly introduce newcomers to the world of technology, while younger members bring fresh energy and new perspectives.

The Hacklab of the Internet Society of Serbia is therefore more than just a space—it is a hub of collaboration, creativity, and informal education, where a strong technological community is being built on openness and shared progress. In a year when the Internet Society of Serbia marks two decades of work, gatherings like these further highlight the importance of a community that continues to grow and evolve alongside technology.
