We are excited to announce four individuals, all of whom are highly respected leaders in their fields, have been selected as MANRS Ambassadors.
Ambassadors are representatives from current MANRS participant organizations.They are leaders in their communities who strongly believe routing security is an essential component for the well-being of the Internet and are committed to its improvement.
The MANRS Ambassadors Selection Committee, consisting of six representatives from the MANRS Advisory Group (covering all geographical regions), assessed the applications. We have notified the successful candidates of the results.
Ambassadors will receive a monthly stipend of US$1,500 for up to six months, depending on the category. They will provide mentorship and guidance to MANRS Fellows in their respective category. Together, they will train diverse communities on good routing practices, analyze routing incidents, research ways to secure routing, and survey the global policy landscape.
The Internet Society supports this program as part of its work to reduce common routing threats and establish norms for network operations.Congratulations to this exceptional group of ambassadors. We look forward to improving routing security around the world together!
