The President of the Internet Society of Serbia Željka Desiree Milošević, together with member Božidar Tanasković, visited the “Mihajlo Pupin” Technical Faculty in Zrenjanin on April 8th, 2026.
During the meeting with faculty representatives, discussions focused on strengthening international cooperation through the HEISTORICAL project, with particular emphasis on knowledge exchange, joint participation in research initiatives, and opportunities for further development of innovative technological solutions.
As part of the visit, the possibilities for developing a platform for collecting and analyzing data from smart devices were also presented. These devices would be installed on buildings of significance and would enable continuous monitoring of key environmental parameters, including temperature, humidity, PM particle concentration, as well as vibration levels.
This approach contributes to the development of smart cities and the improvement of environmental monitoring, with potential for broader application in the preservation of infrastructure and cultural and historical sites.
The visit represents an important step toward strengthening cooperation between the academic community and professional organizations, as well as further development of projects of regional and international importance.
